Welcome to the PRO-ACTIVE South London e-newsletter.

Play Sport London Funding Opens this Monday - 14th September.

Sports clubs and organisations, youth and community groups can apply for grants of up to £1,500 The aim of Play Sport London is to increase the number of people regularly taking part in sport across the capital, with a particular focus on participants receiving 6 hours or more coaching as a result of taking part in the programme.

As a Mayoral programme, the London Development Agency is working with the Greater London Authority, Sport England and other partners to build on the success of last year's programme.

Each PRO-ACTIVE Partnership will be holding a series of regional application workshops designed to give you help and guidance on completing your application form. You can find details of your nearest workshop here.

To play your part in this year's Play Sport London programme visit the applications website. The deadline for receiving applications is 5pm on 16 October 2009.
