You may have heard that the Creating Excellence - Sporting Champions scheme recently went through a re-procurement process. We are delighted to inform you that the partnership of Creating Excellence and the Dame Kelly Holmes Legacy Trust has been successful in securing the contract for the next two years!

The Sport England Sportsmatch programme increases investment in community sport by matching sponsorship money pound for pound. Sportsmatch is funded by Sport England to support the development of grassroots sport in England. It makes awards to organisations running projects aimed at increasing participation in sports at community level. We do this through matching eligible funding invested in community sport.

The Sport England Small Grants Programme has been set up to support local community sport projects which seek to increase participation, sustain participation or develop opportunities for people to excel at their chosen sport.

Sutton Community Fund was launched in 2000, bringing together the reserves of Sutton Local Lottery, Sutton Give as You Earn and LA21 Small Grants Programme. The scheme will be expanded through a programme of annual fundraising. The new fund was developed by a group of local community, voluntary sector, business and local authority representatives.

The Community Development Fund also funds the Small Grants Programme, which is administered by Merton Voluntary Service Council. This is intended to help small unfunded community groups. Applications can be up to £500.

The London Borough of Sutton provide Grant Aid for registered youth organisations up to the value of £2000.

The aim of the Small Grants Fund is to support projects in Richmond upon Thames which benefit local people and those who work in the borough. The outcomes of successful projects should contribute to the overall vision of the Richmond upon Thames Community Plan 2007-2017
