338.000 young people get 123,000 hours of coaching

The PRO-ACTIVE LONDON Partnership Services Team has just produced its annual report for the Community Sports Coach Scheme in London from April 2006 to March 2007. 

Over £21,300,000 has been invested in the scheme in London between April 2004 and March 2007.  At the end of March 2007 there was an active coaching workforce of 435 Community Sports Coaches (176 full-time and 255 part-time) delivering quality sports provision throughout London.  They delivered over 123,000 coaching hours to more than 338,000 young people between 6 and 16 from April 2006a to March 2007.
