City of Westminster College and Westminster Kingsway are large colleges in central London and cater for over 12,000 students across a number of sites. The College offers a wide range of further, adult and higher education courses, which are available for people of all ages from sixteen years upwards. They support learners in realising their ambitions, providing a wide range of opportunities to a diverse student population.
Further Education Sports Co-ordinator (FESCo)
This post was created in response to the National PE school sport and club links (PESSYP) strategy and focuses on developing sporting provision and opportunities for 16-19year olds.
You will be responsible for providing students with increased opportunities to participate, perform, lead and volunteer in sport. You will compliment and enhance the existing college based sport enrichment programmes and establish effective links with schools, sports clubs and other local providers.
Substantial and varied experience of sports delivery and organisation within a college, school or community setting is essential.Closing Date: 09.03.2010
