An exciting opportunity has arisen for sports coordinator to focus on supporting the drive to increase participation in sport by young people aged 16-19, playing a key role co-ordinating and developing the provision, developing links with the network of School Sports Partnerships (SSP’s) and County Sport Partnerships (CSP’s) and wider sport and youth sectors.
You will have:
• Experience in sports development/teaching/coaching
• Experience in implementing and evaluating development plans
• An understanding of the School Sport Partnerships
• Experience of working with 16-19 age group
• Experience of working within a budget
• Experience of developing and organising programmes of activities
• Good working knowledge of IT systems to include Microsoft Office Programmes
• The potential to develop sport within the community
• The ability to communicate at all levels
• The ability to respond positively to pressure, set and meet challenging targets
• Good leadership skills, self starter, self motivated and able to influence and motivate others
