We are looking for a committed team member to support the development of National Occupational Standards across the Sport and Active Leisure Sector. Knowledge of the Sport and Active Leisure Sector is essential along with exceptional organisation and communication skills.
As a Development Officer you will play a lead role in working with employers and national sporting agencies to develop a world-class suite of National Occupational Standards. During 2009/2010, the role will include the development of Standards in Sports Development, Sports Science, Coaching, Sports Leadership, Leisure Management, Supporting Elite Athletes and Officiating.
This role requires initiative, commitment to meet deadlines and working both independently and as part of a team. Success will depend on an ability to organise project activities and communicate effectively with a wide range of organisations and individuals.
