Finance Officer

    • Title: Finance Officer

    To provide and administer a robust day to day financial function for Rounders England

    17.5 hours per week, flexible

    Principal accountabilities

    • Receive, record and bank income
    • Administration of BACS payments
    • Process and record all payments
    • Record incoming orders and pass to Business Administrator to despatch goods
    • Issue invoices, record payment and where necessary issue reminder
    • Write cheques on behalf of Rounders England, pass to signatory for checking
    and signing and forward to payee
    • Liaise with bank
    • Bank reconciliation
    • Monitor income and expenditure against budget heads, with variance analysis and
    probable outturn
    • Prepare budgets
    • Prepare accounts for annual audit
    • Payroll and PAYE returns and payments
    • VAT returns
    • Cash flow analysis
    • Debtor and creditor reports
    • Provide cover, when required, for the Business Administrator and Coaching Administrator
    • Any other reasonable duties

    None

    Standard Specification
    • An understanding of equality issues, legislative requirements and barriers and issues that may prevent our priority groups from participating in rounders, data protection, health and safety in the workplace and all Rounders England policies
    • A willingness to undertake Continuing Professional Development
    • Attendance at management and Rounders England meetings
