The London Borough of Newham and England Athletics are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic, innovative individual to develop and deliver a strategically focused athletics development programme. The post will ensure the production and effective implantation of an Athletics Development Plan, consisting of increased participation and performance, developing and supporting the club structure also improving coaching and attracting more volunteers.
Sound project management, communication, organisational, financial and interpersonal skills are essential.
An understanding of athletics, coaching and continuous professional development, volunteering, sporting structures and funding streams is required. An interest in, and commitment to, developing athletics across Newham is extremely important.Closing Date: 18.07.2008
