Leisure and Sport Services are seeking new personnel to take us forward in developing a sporting and physical activity culture for everyone within Wandsworth.36 hours per week. Ref: L3252
You will lead a team of 10 staff and be a key member of the Leisure and Sport Services management group. Your principal role will be to manage the whole team whilst taking specific responsibility for the Physical Activity Team and Disability Sports Development Officer. You will also research, identify and implement new initiatives that enhance the service provision and increase participation in sport and physical activity.
You will need to have sound experience of sports development policies and principles and be able to work with a range of partners, both internal and external. Experience of identifying and generating funding streams and implementing performance management procedures would also be an advantage.Closing Date: 27.06.2008
