We are currently seeking to appoint a Finance Officer to manage and co-ordinate the financial and related administrative operations of the Tottenham Hotspur Foundation to be based at White Hart Lane stadium.
The main duties will be (but not exclusively)
* Evaluate the current financial systems and implement appropriate changes and proceedures.
*Preparation of month end reconciliations of balance sheet and profit and loss accounts to the general ledger.
* General ledger work
*Developing and maintaining appropriate accounting and coding structures for all Foundation activities
*Provide regular updates and briefings for the Chief Executive and Board of Trustees on financial and administrative matters.
This position would suit someone with experience of working in finance during the growth of an organisation and with knowledge of financial regulations. An appropriate finance or accounting qualification or experience gained in a similar enviroment with evidence of training for financial responsibilities is preferred.
Experience of dealing with the public and the ability to work alone is important. The working hours for this role could be flexible and potentially part-time.
