To drive forward and deliver the ‘Tigers BAME Olympic 2012 Inclusion Project’ targeting Black Asian Minority Ethnic (BAME) communities across Brent, Camden, Ealing, Tower Hamlets and Westminster.
Job Purpose
To drive forward and deliver the ‘Tigers BAME Olympic 2012 Inclusion Project’ targeting Black Asian Minority Ethnic (BAME) communities across Brent, Camden, Ealing, Tower Hamlets and Westminster.
To lead on and to ensure that the benefits of the project are captured for target users.
To work effectively across partnerships within London Tigers to improve access to sports, skills, training and employment opportunities for users.
To be responsible for the provision of a quality user focused service by:
- Development of and access to high quality services, identifying and responding to the needs of users.
- Effective evaluation & monitoring of the users in line with London Development Agency (LDA) guidelines.
To implement equal opportunities principles and practice in all aspects of service delivery to reflect the needs of London Tigers target group of BAME communities including Muslim women.
Work Environment
The post holder is based at London Tigers head office, WECH Community Centre, however will frequently visit other offices and premise to carry out sessions/ workshops and activities.
Although office hours are worked there will be a need to be flexible for evening and the weekend as necessary. The post holder will need to ensure they are able to work core office hours between 10am – 3 pm three days a week and work the remaining hours flexibly. This is a part time post at 18 hours per week.
