Fanshawe area of Barking & Dagenham

This is a strategic funding programme restricted to the Fanshawe area of Barking & Dagenham.

Our priorities for this specifically defined area of the borough of Barking & Dagenham which takes in specific parts of Parsloes and Alibon Wards are as follows:

    Priority 1

Creating viable long-term activities and opportunities for the young people of the area to become positive active members of the community.

    Priority 2

Improved access and achievement in life long learning opportunities for adult members of the community. This is likely to support overall workforce development.

    Priority 3

To promote improved health. This may be through the development of better information and opportunities to eat a healthy diet and to exercise, or other initiatives.

    Priority 4

To enable the voluntary sector agencies to work together for better services and more local involvement by promoting the development of local organisations.
