Sport
The awards are for projects that aim to provide a lasting environmental benefit by providing and improving public amenities, creating and restoring areas to increase biodiversity, wildlife habitat and conservation; improving opportunities for informal education, giving access to sport, culture and recreation and physical regeneration.
Community Scheme-Main Grants
Under this scheme, they award grants to projects that provide or improve community spaces, cultural facilities and places for outdoor recreation.
You may have a building that needs improvement in order to increase the range of services on offer to the local community. Or maybe an open space such as a park, play area or woodland that needs transforming to benefit local people of all ages. They want to make sure that everyone has access to high quality local community facilities.
Flagship Schemes
These are very large-scale projects that look beyond the immediate locality or county and bring something new and innovative to the entire region.
Flagship schemes are accepted up to a deadline that falls twice yearly, usually in June and December.
The project's site is within 10 miles of a Biffa operation.
Your organisation is registered with ENTRUST as an Environmental Body, and the project has been registered with them.Contact: Tel: 0870 0361000
