Course covers the principles of lifeguarding, CPR/Resuscitation include the use of AED's, First Aid as well as water rescue skills and spinal injury management.

This is a 38 hour intensive course with an independent assessment on the last day of the course.

100m swim on front
100m swim on back
50m swim in less than 60 seconds
Tread water for 30 seconds
Dive to deepest part of the pool (2 metres)
Climb out of pool unaided

Candidates must be fluent in conversational English
