The Level 2 Certificate is for anyone aged 18 or over who is interested in coaching Basketball
If you are aged 18 or over and have the UKCC Level 1 Certificate in Coaching Basketball (or EB equivalent) and would like to improve your coaching skills, or embark on a career as a Basketball Coach then the UKCC Level 2 Certificate in Coaching Basketball (L2CCBB) is designed for you. This is the standard level of coaching qualification for all club coaches working at local level. The award gives a general overview of all aspects of basketball, and a basic introduction to coaching techniques.
The Level 2 develops the candidates coaching skills on how to plan, conduct and evaluate basketball coaching sessions so they are able to coach players of all ages. The course provides the necessary knowledge and skills needed to become a basketball coach. This is a 5 day course and attendance on all 5 days is necessary in order to pass the course. Course Dates: Sat 12th & 19th May, & Sat 9th,
Sat 23rd & 30th June 2012. Venue: Southgate College, N14. Cost: £330 or FREE for 18 year olds. Concessionary Rate - £128 for unemployed adults.
