Level 1 Award in Coaching Tennis
Reference: UKCC1 - HzlThe course is a starting point for people who want to get involved in tennis. It is aimed at people who are enthusiastic about tennis, want to help their coach deliver mini tennis and meet the entry requirements. The course is endorsed by UKCC and successful learners will receive a Level 1 Award in Coaching Tennis awarded by 1st4sport.
The course consists of 3 days (two days, followed by a 3 - 6 week break for coaching experience, then a one day fnal assessment). During the 3 - 6 week break candidates will need to complete their portfolio of evidence and complete a minimum of three hours coaching with an LTA licensed coach.

Learner must be at least 16 years of age on the first day of thecourse.
The learner must have an active interest and involvement in tennis
Submit either an LTA CRB Disclosure or they can request a deployment letter to be sent to them to be completed by their coach mentor
